I've always wanted to design stuff for the city that I lived in. And I always thought it would be for Columbia, SC for the longest. Who knew that my wife and I would one day leave to go to Knoxville, TN and help plant a church with 25 other people and live life here. Since we've been here, I've fallen in love with the quirks and uniqueness that is Knoxville. And the art scene here is so great and thriving.
Below are things I'm designing and printing for my business to sell printed goods for my city. Hopefully I'll be able to share a ton over the course of years. And who knows, I may have to break a few out of this catch-all and do single posts.
KNOX TN — Sticker / 8x10 Print
This is where it all started. I created this along with my Heart of the Valley design as entries into designing for Knoxville. When we finally got here, Nancy from Rala reached out to me and asked if I would be willing to sell this graphic as a sticker. I figured what the heck and ventured out into retail. It was something that I always dreamed of doing. Of designing something that people could hold on to when they think of Knoxville. Or for people that just want something cool from this city.
865 — Sticker
I really wanted to create a cool sticker with 865 on it. So I started drawing during a retreat and landed on two designs I liked a lot. So between the two I picked the one below with the thought that it would land well with people in Knoxville.
